Der Verein Mare Liberum leistet mit einem eigenen Schiff Menschenrechtsbeobachtungen im Ägäischen Meer. Ziel ist es, die öffentliche Aufmerksamkeit zurück auf die gefährliche Fluchtroute zwischen Türkei und Griechenland zu lenken und fundamentale Menschenrechte und Solidarität zu stärken.
An diesem Abend kommt Micol, eine ehemalige Studentin der Uni Bayreuth, direkt aus Griechenland in Bayreuth vorbei, um uns mehr über den Verein und die Arbeit vor Ort zu erzählen. Im Gepäck hat sie Bilder und jede Menge Zeit für Fragen. Save the date and spread the word!

The organisation „Mare Liberum“ is using its own ship to observe human rights concerning refugees in the Aegean Sea. They aim at directing people’s attention back to the dangerous escape route between Turkey and Greece and simultaneously strengthen human rights and solidarity.
Tuesday evening Micol, former student of the university of Bayreuth, will stop by at Glashaus on her way back from Greece to tell us more about the organisation and its work. She’s going to give insight into the daily challenges illustrated with photographs and provide the opportunity to discuss any questions. Save the date and spread the word!
