Join us for a discussion on the role of women in the First Intifada! As a special edition of the Intersectional Feminist Bookclub and in cooperation with The Olive Branch and Amnesty International, we will watch ‚Naila and the Uprising‚. A Documentary following the stories of Naila Ayesh and five other women active as organizers, mothers, and workers in the Palestinian popular uprising of 1987-1993.

After the screening there will be an open discussion with academics and activists Maisan M. Hamdan and Lena Obermaier.
